This medium roast is grown by 400 women producers in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Honduras. The women's coffee co-op is named Gea, the Greek goddess of the Earth and the mother of all creation, since the coffee "embodies the determined spirit of women".

This beautifully designed box set of coffees is a delight to give and receive. Every detail - from the story behind the coffee, to the way the business operates, to the design-forward box and presentation of the packaging inside is thoughtfully considered. The coffee being delicious is just the icing on the cake. This is currently my go-to gift for party hosts, colleagues and friends.

Bought this for a friend for her birthday and she loved it! She did mention that she did not love the taste of the Queen’s Crown coffee. My husband doesn’t love it either but I think it’s fine, so not knocking any points off as it seems to just be a matter of personal preference!

I was so excited to try Cafecita Coffee, as I really enjoyed reading about their mission and their support for women in coffee.
I have been brewing my La Paz in a Hario V60 and am loving this coffee! The tasting notes are spot on and this makes a delicious and smooth cup of coffee.
