Natalie was born and raised in Los Angeles. At 18 she left home to live, work and travel abroad, which quickly drew her to international social justice work. After working as a human rights attorney for 10 years, and traveling to over 70 countries, she returned to her hometown to create a company that combines her love of coffee with her passion for social justice. In addition to travel, Natalie is a big fan of cycling, Muay Thai, woodcut printing, and trail running in the Santa Monica Mountains.

She is a lover of big earrings, salsa dancing, art in all its forms, trees and other natural stuff, and learning from and being inspired by cultures and people from around the world.
